В этой статье рассматриваются различные методы прагматического анализа, применяемые в исследованиях по английскому языку, с акцентом на их использование при изучении контекстуального употребления языка. Цель этого исследования, основанного на исчерпывающем обзоре литературы и исследований, - дать представление о различных аналитических методах, применяемых для изучения прагматических аспектов английского языка, таких как импликатура, стратегии вежливости и речевые акты.
