Аннотация

The constant development of transport infrastructure is an integral part of the country's transformation. To keep up and maintain the intensity of traffic flows, it is necessary to constantly develop transport that can provide fast transportation over long distances while ensuring traffic safety. The serviceable condition of rolling stock in operation is a prerequisite for its normal  maintenance. Diagnostics of rolling stock componentsis the most important task for increasing throughput, ensuring train safety and reducing cases of unscheduled repairs. The most critical component that requires constant monitoring in operation is the wheel sets. The purpose of this analysis is to identify the shortcomings of the existing diagnostic system and determine methods for eliminating them. The article discusses the reasons for uncoupling of cars during current uncoupling repairs, the basic principles and types of diagnostics that currently exist.
