TOURISM FOR THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS SERVICES

Purpose: Tourism is one of the important areas influencing the economic growth of each state. A region with balanced economic, environmental, and social development is more likely to be sustainable. Tourism growth can have both positive and negative impacts on regionalsustainability. This study aims to identify a new dimension of economic growth in the smart economy and to support its benefits for emerging nations. Special attention is paid to issues related to the implementation of major national investment projects in the field of tourism Uzbekistan. The necessity of further state support for domestic tourism in order to make better use of the existing potential in the context of regions through diversification is argued. Findings: By 2020, digitization will have a similar impact on defining quality of life in emerging nations as economic growth. The conducted research in the field of tourism business hasrevealed the need to modernize the logisticssystem of a travel company based on the use of market tools - marketing and logistics. Modernization of the logistics system has made it possible to improve the quality of customer service, which in modern conditionsis relevant in order to attract tourists. The latter, in turn, has a positive effect on the level of the social and economic factor of the region. Originality/value: A new type of economic growth was developed in emerging nations in 2020 as a result of the smart economy, according to data based on the dynamics of statistical change analysis.
